Hanna's Christmas

Hi!  I'm Hanna, and I have cancer.  Mommy tells me I have to be careful because I get sick easily, and that could really hurt me.  Mommy knows that it must be hard for me because I can't do a lot of things that my sister can do, so this year she let me help out with decorating the Christmas tree.
I was reading The Night Before Christmas just like I do every Christmas when Mommy asked me if I wanted to help.  Of course, I said yes.
I hopped onto my wheelchair and wheeled down the ramp that Mommy had installed for me.
Look at our tree!  Isn't it pretty?  I couldn't wait to go help!
Mommy took my picture as I put up an ornament.  This one is my favorite because it's sparkly and blue, my two favorite things.
Here I am by the tree when it was done.  I love it, don't you?  Thanks for reading!

Akina Shaved Ice and Snacks

Hi!  I'm Kit!  The other day, I went to Akina Shaved Ice & Snacks, a little cafe near our house.  I love that place so much, I took some pictures.

"Akina Shaved Ice & Snacks" the sign read when I walked in (I'm very sorry it's sideways).
To my right was Gwen, the chef of the shop who puts the "Snacks" in "Akina Shaved Ice & Snacks".
Then, I walked over the the Shaved Ice stand.  What's so cool about this place is that when you walk in, you feel like you are outside, with the stands inside the building and the checker-print rug.  Kanani was working today.  Her family founded this place years ago, and she has kept it thriving ever since.
Chrissa was working at the snack stand, a new addition to the shop.  Her outfit was adorable that day!  Look at all those yummy snacks.  I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat.
Then, there was Ruthie, who was working at the checkout/beverage table.  I love that cash register, with the flower on it!  It really goes with the place's outdoor theme.
I walked over to the bookshelf.  This is another one of my favorite parts of the shop.  They have a huge bookshelf, filled with books and newspapers and magazines.  Sorry it's crooked again.
Next to that is a cozy chair.  Normally, when I come I sit there and read.
A pretty little green table was next to that, on the chair's left.
My friend Mia came in, so we sat at one of the tables.  I wanted a picture, so I asked Lanie to take one.  Mia brought her new iPod Touch, and we took turns playing Angry Birds.
Here is a picture of Lanie from behind...
And Lanie from the side.  She brought her computer, and she told me that she was emailing her friend, Dakota, who is on a trip in Costa Rica.  She also told me that Dakota got to play with an orangutan!  Looks like Lanie is enjoying her muffin, shaved ice, and pink lemonade.
I was hungry so I ordered some shaved ice, but what to choose?
So many flavors!  Mango, Pink Lemonade, Cherry, Blue Raspberry, and Lemon Lime!
I also thought a lollipop sounded good.
Then I checked out.  Ruthie was very nice, and even offered half-off because of how often I come here!
I got an Orange Crush, and paid my cash.
Ruthie told me that the waiter for the day, Ann would come and serve my food to me.
Thank you Ann!  I eventually chose Lemon Lime and Blue Raspberry for my shaved ice and cotton candy for my lollipop.
So yummy!
Before I knew it, the ice was gone.  But at least I had another reason to come back!

P.S.- I was on Doll Diaries!  I'm Cate and I have the pictures of the dolls on the stairs.  Check it out at

Traveling Dolls

I went on a road trip during Thanksgiving break.  My MAG Emmaline (Emma) and GOTY 2006 Jess went, too.  I took a bunch of pictures of them.
Emma: Pink
Jess: Purple
Hi!  This is Emma and Jess, and we wanted to share about our road trip.
As soon as we got to the hotel, we crashed...
But then we woke up for a picture.
The next morning, we were ready to go, bright and early.  Jess even has her sunglasses.  Aren't I adorable in them?
A close up in the car.
By afternoon, the sunglasses weren't needed because it was raining.  We just love rain!
We stopped in Alabama, and Mom got pictures of us at the Visitors Center.
A close up (did you notice that I has binoculars and Jess has a butterfly camera?  The camera literally gives a new meaning to "shutterbug"!  Sorry, that was a bad joke).
Here we are by the "Alabama: We Dare Defend Out Rights" sign.  So patriotic!
The next day, we stopped at another Visitors Center and we saw some scarecrows.
This cool horse was inside!  I couldn't miss an opportunity to get a picture with this!
Here we are going to a bridge!
Before the bridge...
And on the bridge!
A few days later, it was Thanksgiving.  We took a picture by this stack of metal presents.
At my Great-Grandmother's house.
Here we are together!
Just little old me.
Close up of me!

Hi!  It's Molly again!  When my second cousin invited my Mommy and Grandmommy to go out and shop for wedding dresses with her, Mommy said I could tag along!  Isn't that great!?
My Great-Aunt has a lot of statues in her backyard, and I got to take pictures with them!
Here's one of them.  I like his armor.
She also has cactuses.  Look how tall it is compared to me!
I loved this flowers-on-the-wall thing.
He seems zen, don't you think?
My Great-Aunt's silly little (not so little to me) dogs.  Here we are by a dried up stream bed.  They looked so protective and honorable.  I loved the trip and Mommy told me her cousin tried on soooo many pretty dresses!  I didn't go to the shops, I just stayed home with the dogs, but it was still fun.  Thanks for listening!
